The Morning sail was a sailing trip auctioned off to raise money during Nate’s Mum’s battle with Cancer. It was Won by the Backdoor Kitchen, one of Friday Harbors best fine dining restaurants. So the crew of the Backdoor Kitchen Crew headed out from Spring Street Landing into the morning mist and caught the ebb tide down passed Whale Rocks and to explore the serenity of the passageways between islands South of Lopez toward Iceberg Point. The tide changed to flood with a following wind making for a swift silent wing on wing sail back to town with good friends and good food as sunshine burned through the fog.
