Some days you just can’t help but feel lucky. Two bulls, T93 and T97, were traveling together and quickly approaching Friday Harbor. We left the dock just in the nick of time to catch them passing our home Port. Following these “Bigg” guys was a large tight group consisting of 4 family groups, T65A’s, T65B’s, T36A’s, and T99’s. They bucked the flood current going nowhere, or backwards, just outside the harbor for several hours. This big T party has been seen traveling together for over a week in our vicinity. Eventually, they turned back north passing Friday Harbor once again! Feeling spoiled with all these orcas around! Wonder what our Southern Resident orcas are up to?
