Our first time seeing a new calf born 2015, T37A4, and the crinkly fin was a surprise. Glassy sea conditions, early evening lighting, tight groups of orcas = magical moments. Exiting Cattle Pass shortly before sunset, they split into their two family groups. T65A’s explored the bays and harbors of south Lopez through the sunset.
