July 31, 2016 Evening 1/2 day sail – We spent time drifting on the west side of San Juan Island with the J16’s (minus J26) and the J17’s (minus J35 and J47). J50 made a definitive turn towards us to check out our hydrophone. A beautiful tranquil evening with the whales spread in small groups over a very large area. Despite the peaceful nature we have to be concerned;
