K12s and K13s

Aug 14th – Sailed through New Channel and down the west side to circumnavigate San Juan Island. The animals of Spieden climb the cliff face and a harbor seal found a salmon. K12’s and K13’s shuffled the west side. The K13’s were grouped tight until K25 Scoter began tail lobs, dorsal fin and pec slaps, and a breach whereupon the family split. One small steller sea lion with the group on Whale Rocks – female or juvenile?
