May 12, 2017 – Full day bonanza! More harbor seals than we’ve ever seen on Reef Point rock. However, the T101’s took the west side of San Juan Island. Eagles fighting at Goose Island as we cleared Cattle Pass to catch up with the Transient orcas. Steady travel all day passing close to a steller sea lion and never taking a bite. We left them at Turn Point in spectacular lighting to circle Stuart Island for the beginning of a dramatic sunset. Barbecued salmon hit the spot in the mirror calm waters of New Channel.
