May 25, 2017 – Today we circled the rim of islands that surrounds Orcas Island. The flood current and wind pushed us along as we swiftly sailed north in Rosario Strait. After a short pit stop in paradise to look for beach glass, we continued our expedition along the honeycomb sandstone shorelines. California and steller sea lions played beside us and harbor seals littered the seas. Glassy waters reflected the forests and geologic landscapes. Another day in paradise.
