May 26, 2017 – Sunset sail south to Salmon Bank for supper with foraging minke whales. Silence punctuated by blows as their sleek forms cut through the sea surface. We noticed lots of little ones with the steller sea lions on Whale Rocks. We noticed a bald eagle taking advantage of the cormorant’s nests on Goose Island. We noticed Mt Rainer over 100 miles distant was clearly visible. Paradise is not lost.
