Humpbacks near Pender Islands

June 4, 2017 – A fun day sailing into the wild blue yonder where we met two large humpback whales – Heather and Divot (BCY0160 and BCX1057). Flattop Island guillemots seem to be setting up their cliff side nests. New Channel to Stuart Island and Jumping North from Lovers Leap we met the humpbacks cruising the shoreline of the Pender Islands. Completed our loop by way of Johns Pass. Another hard day in the office – just spectacularly beautiful every step of the way.
