July 3, 2017 – Evening sail north through Spring Pass hugging the coastline of Orcas Island admiring the forrest looking for eagles. We crossed Presidents Channel to sail with transient orcas T49As, T65As, & T75Bs as they rounded Mail Bay and headed north into Boundary Pass crossing in front of Mt Baker. Checked out the harbor seals sunning themselves on Skipjack Island in the sunset before heading to Deer Harbor to watch their July 4th fireworks.
