July 5, 2017 – Unpredictable is the only rule for Transient orcas. We sailed on a flood tidal current along the forested coves and beaches that wrap Orcas North-west shoreline with reports of the T37As and T51 slow North along the forested North East side of Orcas Island. But instead of the direction I imagined they took us to Cherry Point Again 36 year old T51 was close with youngster T37A2. Traveling South together we continued a little faster ahead to circle Orcas Island via our favorite places. Barbara’s photos tell the tales.
