July 16, 2017 – Sailed out through Obstruction Pass to circumnavigate Orcas Island. Transient orcas including T37 with daughter T37B and grand offspring were with the T34’s hunting near the Peapod Rocks. They turned to the dramatic cliffs at Lawrence Pt and on to the serenity of Little Sister, Barnes and Clark. As we sailed north on our journey, we passed by several groups of orcas who were southbound at Matia while drifting with our own supper. It was a spectacular sunset.
