July 22, 2017 – Oh there was much planning involved in figuring out the perfect spot for a very special wedding proposal. It was decided that we would take our passengers to one of our favorite places – to the top of Lovers Leap where he would pop the question.
We set a course towards Stuart Island while visiting some of our favorite wildlife hangouts along the way. Bald eagles were scattered all over Flattop Island while mother harbor seals kept busy caring for their new pups. Crossing over to New Channel we weaved through the bull kelp forests in between the Cactus Islands before cutting through Johns Pass.
Upon arrival at Prevost Harbor on the north side of Stuart Island we dropped the anchor and boarded the skiff for our on-shore adventure. It was a peaceful stroll through the forest as we made our way to one of our favorite look out points known as Lovers Leap.
We knew the moment was coming and made some separation from our passengers to give them their privacy. Before we knew it, Matt was down on one knee asking Andrea to take his hand in marriage. The camera was firing picture after picture capturing this special moment as she said “yes”. For the rest of the day we were all smiles celebrating the love of this lovely couple.
