July 24, 2017 – Right on our door step of Friday Harbor we met Biggs/Transient orcas T34’s, T37, T37B’s, and T46’s. As we were rounding Turn Island we saw some hunting behavior at Turn Rock. They swam on a treadmill on a flood tide. It’s not the first time we’ve seen them do that for quite some time. We sailed ahead to visit Whale Rocks and Long Island rejoining them as they cleared Cattle Point Lighthouse.
