July 31, 2017 – Sailed on a journey through the islands to pass on the experience of seeing orcas for the first time. Magic. We first met the T37B’s coming our way from south of Cypress Island with Mt Baker directly behind. Not too far away was her mother, T37, and in a separate group was her sister T37A with offspring traveling with the T34’s. Orca soup. After a very special visit we said good bye as we rounded Colville Island south of Lopez and they headed off towards Mt. Rainer. Shared a delicious dinner drifting near Iceberg Point and returned via Cattle Pass watching the sun go down.
