May 31, 2018 – Short Sail – Reefed the main for an evening sail in strong winds. We rode the spiraled current into Upright Channel to admire the splendor of Upright Head in evening light. Circumnavigating Shaw Island gave us mirror calm seas in Harney Channel before coming out into the sunset at Nob Island. Heeled into the wind for the final run down San Juan Channel to Friday Harbor. An exhilarating evening short sail.
