June 7, 2018 – Today was one of those perfect days when everything works out right. As we drifted alongside Flattop Island we could hear the whistles of the pigeon guillemots as they socialized close to shore. As we sailed into Boundary Pass, the T100’s were headed our way. We observed some hunting off Sandy Pt before continuing on towards Turn Pt Lighthouse. Close haul sail to Mandarte to see the cormorant colony and then a beam reach to New Channel to shut down for supper. The peregrine called as we sailed by. Not a raindrop despite the forecast for rain.
