June 22nd .We were all excited to hear a report of Transient Orcas at Lopez Pass. We sailed through Turn Island Pass and then North, close to the shoreline of Upright Head where eagles looked down from their roosts. We continued South between Frost Island and Spencer Spit and on to Lopez Pass. We met the T65As and 49As (minus T49A1) in social play on the shoreline of Decatur Island. They hunted together in a cove on James Island and then came in through Thatcher Pass. There were many breaches and tail slaps. At one point T49A came up below T49A5 and knocked her calf clear into air. We noticed the calf looks to be a female
