July 6, 2018 – Set sail downwind in San Juan Channel on a course to Flattop Island. Harbor seals were everywhere – on shore resting or swimming with their new pups. Bald eagles were scattered about watching the day go by. Drifting in the paradise of New Channel we listened to the sounds of eagles calling, harbor seal pups crying out and black oyster catchers greeting one another. As we rounded Spieden Island to see the south side, we found many more eagles, seals and pups. What a fantastic day with loads of wildlife.
