July 28, 2018 – Sailed North tacking off Crane island to quietly sail passed the harbor seal haul outs of Yellow and Low Islands. Rode the flood tide sailing wing on wing to Greenpoint and into the idyllic mirror waters of New Channel. Harbor seal pups were everywhere as we drifted between the Cactus Islands. We followed the rocky islets out to Gull Rock, Flattop Island and White Rock. On to the dramatic cliff face of Point Disney and the southern shoreline of Gary Oak and Madrone of Waldron Island. Beam reach sail across President s Channel to follow the Orcs Island shoreline down. Inside the wasp Islands and a fun close hauled sail down San Juan Channel. A wildlife rich fun sail through the San Juan Islands.
