July 21st 2019 – A beautiful day with colorful reflections on glassy seas. Upon leaving the harbor we spotted two dueling pairs of bald eagles. It was fun hearing their calls as they flew at speed chasing one another. During our sail we visited five of our favorite National Wildlife Refuges: Flattop Island, Gull Rock, White Rock, Skipjack Island and Bare Island. There were many harbor seals hauled out warming in the sunshine. Gorgeous geology was the perfect backdrop for many wildlife photography opportunities. We enjoyed the setting sun as we made our way down Presidents Channel towards San Juan Island.
