July 24, 2019 – We sailed passed five National Wildlife Refuges: Flattop Island, Gull Rock, White Rock, Skipjack Island and Bare Island. There were so many harbor seals hauled out warming up in the sunshine including lots of mothers nursing their newly born pups. Bald eagles both juvenile and adult gave us quite the views soaring over our heads or stood perched in the trees watching us sail by. The colorful coastline of Orcas Island as we came down Presidents Channel was beautiful. The Pacific Madrone trees with their orange bark came alive in the sunset.
A beautiful full day sail
