July 25, 2019 – We drifted in silence over the Salmon Bank today as flood current ushered in from a glassy summertime sea. We were circled by a minke whale whom our passengers named “Sparkles”. Two others appeared whom we know as Minke Mouse (named by passengers in 2017) and Sharky with his gill shaped rake marks on right side. A beautiful summer day sail in the San Juan Islands
