August 10, 2019 – What a beautiful evening with glassy mirror-like seas. Such vibrant colors and gorgeous shades of hazy blue. We saw lots of harbor seals, some harbor porpoise, steller sea lions, bald eagles (adult and juvenile), rhinoceros auklets, common murres, Pacific loons, cormorants, great blue herons, black oystercatchers, and gulls. We were treated to a delightful sunset after dinner as our young passenger sailed us around Turn Island towards Friday Harbor. A perfect end to a very special family sail.
