September 11, 2019 – It was great hanging out with you and humpback whale MMX0007 ‘Bond’. New Channel was beautiful as always with bald eagles, harbor seals and a Peregrine falcon. Hugging the shoreline of Stuart Island to Turn Point Lighthouse we broke off at Satellite Island to sail into Boundary Pass.
Cutting back into New Channel by Ripple Island and the aspen grove and weaving in between the Cactus Islands and the bull kelp beds. We enjoyed a scrumptious dinner and checked out the south side Flattop Island. The humpback whale was stilling circling in the same general area and we were able to get another look on our way down towards San Juan Channel.
