June 25, 2020 – Afternoon short sail. Crossed San Juan Channel on the ebb noticing a bald eagle on Reid Rock buoy. Harbor seals were hauled out on the rocks in Hicks Bay. We drifted through the pass inside Canoe Island to Picnic Pt. Enjoyed wing on wing sailing along Shaw Island’s coastline of Juniper and Madrone trees. Sailed across to Upright Head spotting an eagle roosting on a Madrone. Nice sail back as the tide switched to flood.
