July 20, 2020 – Some wind and a strong ebb tide helped dictate our course for a beautiful sunset sail. Wing on wing to Hicks Bay where we drifted in calm waters being watched by two bald eagles while harbor seals swam with their pups. We’re noticing harbor seal pups have long whiskers. Fast sail to Turn Rock and then sailed against the tide through Turn Island Pass watched by another pair of bald eagles. Drifted passed the kelp forest of Turn Rock and sailed to Shaw Island again. Came about to cross the channel through sunset.
