April 22, 2021 – Beautiful full day sail. Cut through the Wasp Islands before making our way up to drift along the north side of Spieden Island. Hugged the gorgeous south side of Stuart Island coastline stopping to scan near the border for whales. Returned back to hug the north side of Stuart and Johns Island and cut down to New Channel via Ripple Island Pass. Flattop Island was pretty awesome today. Stunning reflections, harbor seals hauled out, black oystercatchers, and a rare sight of river otters mating on shore.
