June 18, 2021 A perfect half day sail North. Spike Africa Schooner at Yellow Island, Mount Baker through Wasp Pass. The granite glacial erratics off McConnell Island. An eagle in its nest at Flattop Island and pigeon guillemots nesting on the cliffs here. Harbor seals hauled out as we cut through Ripple and the Cactus Islands including our first harbor seal pup sighting this year. Immature bald eagle in a madrone tree while another eagle flys by with some kind of carcass in its talons. Mouflon rams foraging along the shoreline on Spieden Island.
