June 27, 2021 – A full day sail with an Orcas Island pick up and drop off. We decided to do something different today and check out the gorgeous scenery and wildlife in Rosario Strait. We found bald eagles watching from tree tops and many harbor seals hauled out at the Peapod Rocks including a few new pups. Continued on to Lawrence Pt to get a good scan to the north and to admire the steep cliff face covered in tall trees. Extraordinary views of Mt Baker today and great winds for a fast close hauled sail.
