June 27, 2021 – A fun evening sail through the Wasp Islands and up into Presidents Channel. Rhinoceros auklets were busy gathering fish for supper. We hugged the forested Orcas Island coastline up to Lovers Cove before turning back and crossing the channel to admire the stunning geology of Pt Disney, Waldron Island. As we sailed down to Jones Island the lighting got better and better creating a warm glow on the islands with soft pastel colors. The sunset was beautiful.
