August 7, 2021 – We began our sail northbound to some of our favorite places, Flattop Island and New Channel when we received a report of three orcas found near Jones Island. We made an about face to head that way.
It was exciting sailing with Biggs/Transient orcas siblings T77C and T77D and their friend, T49A2. They were mucking about in Spring Pass for a bit before making a decision to travel up Presidents Channel. We stayed with them until we reached Lovers Cove where we did another about face and came down the Orcas shoreline bound for Friday Harbor. We were treated to a beautiful rainbow before returning to Port. An exciting private birthday sail for our passengers.
