August 19, 2021 – After leaving the harbor we headed south out of Cattle Pass. We found a minke whale on Salmon Bank who gave us some great views as it swam bank and forth on the bank. We also spotted a rare brown pelican at Whale Rocks. Other wildlife included harbor seals, Steller sea lions, bald eagles, cormorants with chicks on Goose Island and black oystercatchers.
