August 24, 2021 – A great sail down San Juan Channel, through the pass by Deadman Island, to Whale Rocks to see the Steller sea lions, out to Salmon Bank finding a minke whale (one who we call “Minke Mouse”), and a sail through the islands surrounding the south end of Lopez Island. Our trip also included seeing harbor seals, black oystercatchers and a chick, bald eagles, tons of diving birds and gulls, and some harbor porpoise.
