Orcas T34’s and T37’s in Boundary Pass

August 25, 2021 – After leaving the harbor we decided to head north. Skirting by the Wasp Islands, hugging Jones and up to Flattop National Wildlife Refuge to see what we could find. A group of orca were in Boundary Pass moving east but very slowly. We hoped they’d come south for us to meet them since they seemed out of range for our half day sail. But, our passengers really wanted to see them so we kicked in the iron jenny and off we went. Crossed into Canada and arrived on scene with the Biggs/Transient orcas known as T34’s, T37 and the T37B’s. Our passengers were thrilled. After some really nice views it was time to head back because we had an evening sail booked. Passengers enjoyed a lovely picnic they brought and spoiled us with their yummy treats.
