October 1, 2021 – It was a great start to our sail when we found a pair of humpback whales outside our harbor! We identified the mother humpback whale as MMZ0004 “Zephyr” and she had her 2nd calf. We sailed parallel getting some beautiful views before breaking off to explore the area near Cattle Pass. On our way back in the Pass we had another quick look at the humpbacks. We also saw lots of harbor seals, sea lions, bald eagles, great blue herons and lots of diving birds.
