October 18, 2021 – A really exciting sail getting the chance to see a pair of humpback whales (who we’ve never “met” before) known as Europa and her new calf. Another first for us was seeing a Pomarine Jaeger. It was chasing gulls off the northern tip of San Juan Island. We also saw lots of harbor seals, bald eagles, Steller sea lions, and a full moon rising.
