May 20, 2022 – Such a fun adventure seeing humpback whale BCY0324 aka “Big Mama”, with her 7th calf near Gooch Island. Other trip highlights included sailing through New Channel finding lots of seals and bald eagles, cruising the coast of Stuart Island up to Turn Pt Lighthouse where we found a Peregrine falcon, a sail by Mandarte Island to see the nesting cormorants and a variety of other birds, cruising the south side of Spieden seeing the exotic animals and Steller sea lions, and lastly the active bald eagle nest on Shaw Island.
