May 25, 2022 – What a fun sail we had heading out into Rosario Strait and finding lone male orca T49A1 as he was steadily southbound. The next afternoon he was found traveling west from Dungeness Spit. On our way back as we hugged the coastline down from Upright head we found a Peregrine Falcon near Odlin Park, Lopez Island. We also spotted the T137’s (and possibly a humpback in the distance) outside Friday Harbor. That was an awesome surprise. A late return back to the dock after the sun had set, but what an exciting adventure.
