June 11, 2022 – Today we had a very special sail with a surprise proposal. After casting off we came around Turn Island to see a group of Biggs/Transient orcas including the T123’s and T41’s who were northbound in San Juan Channel. After an incredible first pass everyone was all smiles. As we sailed by Friday Harbor in stunning sunset light with orcas in the background he got down on one knee to propose. Of course she said “Yes!”. It was so magical and such an incredible moment which we were so happy to witness. We did our best to capture the magic – only a few photos are shared here on our blog. Hoping to sail with these two lovebirds again soon!
