July 19, 2022 – An adventure around San Juan Island. It was a whale of a day! Beginning with a single humpback who gave us some nice views and one great pass before vanishing on us, followed by a pair of minke whales hanging out together, and the cherry on top of three humpback whales traveling together. The humpback trio were identified as BCX1068 “Split Fluke”, BCX1358 “Frankenstein”, BCX1640 “Bond”. Other trip highlights included harbor seals, Steller sea lions and pigeon guillemots.
