August 11, 2022 – An epic adventure full of wildlife. Bald eagles, harbor seals, great blue herons, black oystercatchers, ochre sea stars, two (rarely seen) brown pelicans on Whale Rocks, Steller sea lions, multiple minke whales on Salmon Bank with lunge feeding, harbor porpoise and a humpback whale just west of Hein Bank playing with a clump of kelp floating at the surface.
