September 15, 2022 – It was marathon to Lummi Island on our half day sail to see Biggs/Transient orcas. There were several groups in the area, but we got to see the T34’s and T37’s. We stuck with them until we reached the bottom of Sinclair Island and then had to make tracks back towards Friday Harbor with a plan to make it back before dark. In addition to the orcas we saw many harbor seals hauled out be Peapod Rocks and Spindle Rock, had a great sail across Rosario Strait, and a beautiful sunset.
