March 25, 2023 – After hearing reports of a couple of orca playing with crab pots inside our harbor we decided to pop out for a quick sail. They had just finished their shenanigans and exited Friday Harbor as we got underway. The orcas were T49C (born 1998) with his nephew, T49A2 (born 2007). They hugged the San Juan coastline and stopped for a brief hunt before continuing north. We left them at O’Neal Island and spun around for a fun sail back to the harbor.
