June 3, 2023 – Today we met up with Biggs/Transient orcas T124A’s after they came inter-island and out through Wasp Passage. Earlier in the day they traveled up the east side of Whidbey Island and under the Deception Pass Bridge. We sailed with the orcas up to Gull Rock before doubling back to sail around Flattop Island. Other cool wildlife sightings included bald eagles, black oystercatchers, pigeon guillemots, and a pair of baby eaglets in their nest!
