October 21, 2023 – A northerly sail to some of our favorite places. Through the Wasp Islands, Flattop Island, Ripple Island, the Cactus Islands, and around Spieden Island. While drift sailing in New Channel we heard the blow of a whale so we started scanning. A minke whale was swimming through the channel headed west. We had some nice views as we sailed alongside. On Spieden Island the exotic animals were grazing including Mouflon Rams, Sika Deer, and Fallow Deer.
