July 11, 2024 – On today’s sail we saw lots of wildlife. There were many harbor seals hauled out resting with newborn pups. Bald eagles were all around including a group engaged in taking turns eating something on shore in New Channel. We also met a group of Biggs/Transient orcas known as the T36A’s (minus T36A1’s) plus T65A5 who happened to be moving southeast from Johns Island. We got some fantastic views and traveled alongside as the orcas headed down San Juan Channel.
