September 5, 2024 – Sailed inter-island through Canoe Island Pass along Upright Head and down to Thatcher Pass. We saw a juvenile bald eagle on the cliff of Upright Head. We cut through James Island and met the Biggs/Transient orcas T19’s (no T18 present). We sailed alongside with some great views of these majestic animals leaving them at Pointer Island. Returned by way of Thatcher Pass with a fast sail to Upright Head and a fast sail from Flat Point back to Friday Harbor.
